We have breakfast as the day before, in front of the swimming pool then we leave the accommodation to the south towards the temple of Tenah Lot:

Around 10:00 am, we arrive at Tenah Lot, we manage to have our bags kept by a small temple shop. The temple is very beautiful but crouded with people. You can’t enjoy the view unless you arrive very early. We take some photos and then we head south towards Jimbaran.

We take a short break at Kuta, at a shopping center: « Mall Bali Galeria ». We had a tour at the central hypermarket and see some local products

We arrive at our last accomodation in Bali at Jimbaran : Kubu Kak Dudung Villas :

We are very disappointed with our accommodation. Reviews and photos on the internet were good, we expected great accommodation. The pool is very small compared to what we expected. The hotel consists of small cabins as bedrooms. The cabins are very narrow, and it is very hot inside. There is an air conditioner but too noisy.
Well, it doesn’t matter, we go to the beach. Jimbaran Beach is 700m from the accommodation. We go there by scooter:

The beach is not very nice, a rough sea which does not really make you want to swim there. We choose to eat at “Roma cafe”, a well rated Warung. Hygiene was no good, we saw rats running in the Warung next door. We settle down anyway and order a fish for 2 people (Barracuda) accompanied by rice, noodles and sautéed vegetables. We do not understand why, the Warung is so successful.

You end up eating pretty quickly annoyed by the smell of strong barbecue smoke. At the time of paying, the waiter announces to us that our fish weighed 1.7 Kg, we think that it can’t be more than 700g. We are really disappointed with Jimbaran, we decide to go and watch the sunset in Kuta to change.

The sunset at “Kuta beach” is a very famous spot. We got there just before Sunset after a hellish ride on a motorbike (too much trafic). We leave our scooter in front of « Kuta Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center« . We sit on the beach to watch the sunset.

After sunset, we leave the motorcycle to have a walk in Kuta famous for the nightlife. We pass by a few main streets:
- Jl Pantai Kuta where you can find « Hard Rock café »
- Jl Popies I : to avoid if you want to do money exchange (famous for scams).
- Jl Popies II : until Sky Garden, a well known Rooftop but which had just closed permanently due to a legal matter with the owner.
- Jl Raya Legian until Bemo Corner which is the starting point for buses connecting Kuta to Ubud (or other destination)
- Jl Pantai Kuta to get back to our moto
