We take our breakfast and leave Villa Almarik, direction the meeting point for the Fast boat « Freebird Express » towards Amed.
Halfway, we return our bikes to « DEJA VU ».
The meeting point is the same as where we disembarked 3 days ago. The principle is the same: we take our “Boarding Pass” and we are unloaded from our bags.
The boat leaves around 11:00 am, we leave Gili T with beautiful memories.
The crossing takes longer than the outward journey because it passes through Gili Air, Lombok before reaching Amed around 1:00 p.m.
We arrive at Amed, drivers offer to drive us for 200,000 Rp (13.3 €) / person on a minibus, but we already have our driver (The same than brought us from Ubud). We contact him and we make an appointment next to Teman Teman Cafe & Bungalows 1 (our accommodation in Amed). Our driver arrives, and we leave for Ubud to collect our scooter. On the way, we negotiate a stop at « Secret Beach ».
Our driver tells us that he does not know this beach, we show him the address via GPS. We arrive there around 3:00 p.m. We go to the beach, we have to pay 10,000 Rp (0.7 €) per person to access it. There are a few steps to descend before you can see the bay.
We arrive at the beach, it is very rough but that does not prevent us from swimming 🙂
There are some Warungs who share the small beach, we choose one for lunch. Anyway, they offer almost the same service. We paid 60,000 Rp (4 €) for 2 noodle and a Bintang: We find again the attractive prices of Bali after Gili 🙂
We arrive around 5.30 pm at our first accomodation in Ubud: « Yuni’s House » to collect our scooter and join our second accommodation in Ubud before dark: « Puri Landu Ubud Luxury Villas »
The road is quite simple, we arrive after 20 minutes at our new hotel. The entrance doesn’t look very good. But, once inside, we discover a very nice accommodation: 3 bungalows around a beautiful swimming pool. The room is luxurious. We are welcomed with a very refreshing welcome cocktail. Definitely, our best accommodation in Bali ❤

Our host explains to us that we must order breakfast for tomorrow which will be served in front of the room 🙂
We ask if there is a Warung nearby, and he tells us that we can order dinner with room service too. It suits us perfectly, since we want to enjoy the swimming pool and the magnificent accommodation. We order rice, noodles, pancakes, fresh juice, 2 Bintang for 250,000 Rp (€ 16.7) for 9:00 p.m.
After a refreshing swim in the pool, we settle down for dinner. It’s sumptuous: everything is perfect 🙂
