Budget :
Since our child is under 2 years old during this trip, he does not pay for a seat on the plane but a flat rate of €25 per flight for airport taxes. On the other hand, he will not have a seat
Our Budget for 2 adults and a baby under 9 months was €1,645 for 9 days :

Money :
To change euros or dollars into Moroccan Dirham (MAD), the bank rates at the airport are less attractive than those of exchange offices in town. At the airport, it is better to exchange a small amount in order to pay for a taxi and the first expenses before being able to exchange again in town. Exchange offices are quite easy to find everywhere.
In March 2023, 1 euro = 10.5 MAD and 1 US dollar = 10 MAD
Visa :
For Europeans, Morocco is Visa-free as long as the stay does not exceed 60 days.
Also, for us, Tunisians, the Visa is not required.
Forfait téléphonique :
Consider buying a phone plan with an internet connection. There are good prices in the airport operator shops. We paid around €12 for a SIM card with a local number and 10 GB of data from the operator INWI.
Weather :
Visiting period: March
- In Rabat, the weather is nice, not too hot or too cold. No rain. You can go out in the evening with a light vest.
- In Tangier, there was rain several times with fog (not great for admiring the beauty of the corniche). But the temperatures remain very bearable, neither too hot nor too cold.
- In Marrakech, even during the month of March, it was very hot, especially during the day (up to 33°C). The heat can become unbearable between 12:00 and 15:00. In July and August, it is unbreathable with temperatures that can reach 45°C during the day
Cheklist :
- Antiseptic
- Paracetamol
- Diarrhea treatment
- Mosquito repellent
- Sunscreen
- Hydroalcoholic gel
- Antibacterial wipe
- Hats
- Sunglasses
Voyager avec un bébé :
The welcome and kindness of Moroccans are not just a myth. They are at the top and do not hesitate to help you carry the stroller, warm up a bottle or find you a quiet corner in the café or restaurant to put your child to bed.
We had no problem traveling with a 9-month-old baby in this beautiful country
