The hotel has a magnificent location. From the entrance that leads there, the place is relaxing:

The hotel is composed of bungalows, has a reception and a restaurant that directly overlooks Klong Dao beach. It is considered the most popular beach of the island. It is shallow, perfect if you have children.

You can sit in the hotel bar/restaurant and enjoy the sunset

For dinner, the hotel offers a barbecue service. You can choose between meat, fish and seafood.

We chose typical dishes with a dessert very famous in Thailand: Mango Sticky Rice

This is our second day in Koh Lanta
We wake up quite early, perhaps the effect of Jetlag. We take the opportunity to have a morning swim in the hotel beach, refreshing and beautiful.

We have breakfast on the beach in our hotel. It’s perfect.

Our hotel can arrange taxi or Tuk-tuk rides.
Everything is customizable and negotiable. We agree on a 4-hour tour. We pay 1000 THB (26 €)
Our means of transport is an authentic Taxi Tuk tuk:

We choose to go to the city center of Lanta (Lanta Old Town) and to pass by a beach on the way back for a swim.

We leave for the old town of Lanta

We arrive at Lanta Old Town, our driver drops us off at the parking lot and waits for us there.

We walk along the main street of the village (Street Market)

The village is lively but very touristy

We arrive at a place with the name of the village in large colored letters. We can see that the lively part of the Old Town is over. We go back

We choose the « Pinto restaurant » to eat a Pad Thai, classic but good

Before leaving the village, we continue towards the pier of the old town. It is less used than the one by which we landed on the island

We finish our tour of the village. It is a charming village but too small. We head towards Long Beach recommended by our driver.

After a quick swim, we return to our hotel in the rain.

After a quick shower, we go out for a walk around our hotel and find a Rotee stand: These are traditional pancakes in Thailand. Too good

We end the evening at the hotel, in the beach bar with a magnificent sunset.

This is our last day in Koh Lanta. We have breakfast at the hotel in front of the beach.

Our host ensures our transport to the Saladan pier to take the Ferry to Phi Phi.
We arrive at the pier. It is the same organization that we saw in Krabi. There are small stands by company and by destination. You are asked for your reservation and you are given stickers to put on your t-shirt and on your luggage.
