As our accommodation does not offer breakfast, we go out for a walk in the streets of the Zamalek district to find a café.

We end our tour in the café/restaurant of the hotel « Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino ». The « Garden Promenade Café » has a good menu for breakfast. We enjoy it in the calm and under the rays of the morning sun.

We return to our hotel via the bookstore « Diwan Bookstore » and the magnificent souvenir shop « Ateeq«

We return to our hotel to collect our luggage and leave for the airport by Taxi.

This is the end of our trip to Egypt. We loved this incredible country.
It is objectively one of our best trips.

We will definitely come back. We still have several addresses to try and many things to see and see again.
Here is a list of what we wanted to try and visit in Cairo:
- The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)
- Mohamed Ali Palace: magnificent palace known as Al-Manyal Palace
- Um Kulthum Museum
- The Copt district and its churches: the hanging church of Saint Mary, the church of Saint Sergius and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which represents the place where Moses was found by the pharaoh’s sister in the waters of the Nile as a baby. There is also the Souk el Fustat (a collection of small, refined shops under arcades)

- Al Doqi District
- The popular district of Al Seyda Zeinab

- St. Simon Monastery « The Tanner » (The Cave Church): This is the largest church in the Middle East
- Manshiyat Naser (Garbage City) District: A unique district in Cairo, mainly known for being the city’s waste treatment center. Here, the Zabbaleen (waste collectors) sort and recycle waste in an informal system.
- The City of the Dead (Qarafa): This is a fascinating necropolis in Cairo where residents have settled in the middle of the cemeteries
- El Mokattam: A belvedere in the form of a corniche in the heights allowing you to see the city from above

Cafes and restaurants:
- Al Sabbahy Restaurant (30°02’34.1″N 31°11’55.8″E): popular and authentic
- Saheb El Sa’ada: Very popular cabaret in the street “Al Moez Ldin Allah Al Fatmi”
- Café Riche: Legendary bar in Cairo
- Kazaz: Street Food, its specialty is Taamia
- Naguib Mahfouz Coffee Shop: in Khan Al Khalili
- Karnak: Inventor of the Egyptian dessert “Al Kombola” (the bomb)
- Hawawshi Al Rabii: Like its name indicates, Hawawshi is his specialtyq
We would also have liked to see the Cairo subway, or visit Alexandria (possible to do it in one day from Cairo by train or private car)
We will also come back to visit the new museum: The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) which is currently opening in Giza. It will certainly be one of the most grandiose museums in the world
