We chose to stay in the famous Rambla. Our accommodation is located almost halfway between the « Catalonia Square » and the « Mirador de Colom », just in front of the subway station: « Liceu«
A double bedroom, clean, with private bathroom and toilet and air conditioning (very important in summer in Spain).
From the bedroom, we have a view of the famous avenue

From Barcelona to Madrid
We traveled from Barcelona to Madrid by Bus. The trip lasts 07h30 with a short break in « Zaragoza« . It is a bit tiring to spend the night by bus but it was the cheapest way (35€/person). In addition, taking a night bus allows you to save the price of a hotel night : but you have to sleep in the bus to not to spoil the day after.
It is possible to travel by train or plane but it is more expensive.
